What’s the most glamorous way to travel to the world’s largest lakeside stage? If you ask us, we would advise you go by the most direct route – across the lake. Particularly because Nagasaki (where Madame Butterfly, one of the operas in this year’s Festival is set, of course) is just a short boat ride away. A shuttle service across the lake, operating from 19 July to 20 August for every lake-side performance, will carry opera-goers from the Lochau-Kaiserstrand quay to Bregenz harbor, which is only a short walk from a great musical experience.<\/p>
