Long-Distance Travel (Train & Bus)

• The nearest train station is Lochau-Hörbranz, located just 200 m from the hotel.
• The nearest main railway station is Bregenz Station.
• Regular Railjet and InterCity connections are available from Vienna, Innsbruck, Zurich, and Munich.
• Arrivals generally operate on an hourly basis.
• Additional international rail connections with convenient transfer options are also available.
• Long-distance buses also stop in Bregenz, with connections from Germany and Switzerland, among others.

Local Public Transport
From Bregenz Station, the Kaiserstrand can be reached conveniently:

• Bus routes towards Lochau operate approximately every 10–15 minutes
• Travel time: approx. 10 minutes
• Bus stop: “Lochau Kaiserstrand”

For a comfortable journey, we recommend taking the Railjet from Bludenz Station to Lindau-Insel.
The train departs from Bregenz Station at 6:49 PM and arrives at Lochau-Hörbranz Station at 6:54 PM.

For your return journey, we recommend the train departing Lochau-Hörbranz Station at 11:38 PM towards Bludenz Station. It arrives at Bregenz main station at 11:43 PM.

Barrier-Free Access

All relevant train stations — especially Bregenz Station — are fully accessible and equipped with elevators, ramps, and tactile guidance systems.

Most regional buses are low-floor vehicles, providing easy access for guests with reduced mobility.

The route from the bus stop to the venue is flat and easily accessible.

Walking Distance to the Event

• From the “Lochau Kaiserstrand” bus stop, the walking distance is only approx. 3–4 minutes.
• From Bregenz Station, the distance is approx. 2.5 km (alternatively accessible by bus or bicycle).

Bicycle rental systems and ride-sharing services

For a particularly sustainable arrival, we recommend using the well-developed cycling network around Lake Constance.

The famous Lake Constance Cycle Path runs directly past the Kaiserstrand and offers a fully signposted and safe route with stunning lake views.

Recommended Routes

• From Hard: approx. 8 km along the lakeshore, flat terrain and dedicated cycle paths throughout (approx. 25–30 minutes)
• From Bregenz: approx. 2.5 km, direct waterfront connection (approx. 10–15 minutes)
• From Lindau: approx. 5 km, beautiful cross-border route along the promenade (approx. 20 minutes)
• From Lauterach: approx. 6 km via well-developed cycle paths towards Bregenz and onward to Lochau (approx. 20–25 minutes)

For the safe storage of your bicycle, a secure and lockable bicycle room is available.

From the A14 motorway

Leave the motorway at the Lochau / Hörbranz exit and take the road towards Lochau. Follow the road and turn right at the fire station. Turn right again at the next small cross-roads. You will then come to a further crossroads after a few meters. Turn left and follow the signs as far as the roundabout. At the roundabout take the third exit in the direction of Bregenz. The hotel is on your right-hand side after about 300 meters. Go over the railroad crossing.

Coming from Germany

(No Vignette needed)

Take the Lindau exit. Continue straight ahead at the first roundabout and then turn left at the traffic light. Continue straight ahead for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout, where you continue straight ahead again. You will now cross the border between Germany and Austria. Stay on the main road until you reach the first roundabout where you continue straight ahead once again. The Seehotel am Kaiserstrand is on the right-hand side after about 200 m on the other side of the railroad crossing.

Parking

You are welcome to use a parking space in our courtyard or underground garage for € 17 per night. With a minimum spend of € 15 in our establishment, you can enjoy 2.5 hours of complimentary parking. Without any consumption, the parking fee is € 2.50 per hour.

Public parking spaces can also be found very close to the hotel.

Two electric charging stations (1 x 11 kW/1 x 22 kW) are located in our courtyard.
